Krymov Lab NYC is launching a hands-on, month-long directing intensive led by acclaimed theatre director Dmitry Krymov.
This immersive program is designed as a bold experiment in collaboration and discovery.
Krymov will personally select seven emerging directors to spend four weeks developing their unique artistic voices through the lens of the Krymov Method—his distinctive approach to visual and conceptual storytelling.

October 13th - November 9th, 2025
Mondays through Fridays, 12pm-4pm

La MaMa ETC, 66 East 4th Street, NYC
Cost:
Tuition for the entire course is $3,000.
To apply, there is a registration fee of $25.
Application Process:
Applicants must hold a degree in Theater Studies (or equivalent)
Step 1:
Register here and submit your $25 registration fee no later than June 30th, 2025
Respond to your confirmation email with a current resume and a 2-minute video answering the question
“What does directing mean to you?”
Step 2:
A shortlist of candidates will receive a creative assignment to complete and return by a specified deadline.
Step 3:
From this group, ten finalists will be invited to a virtual interview with Dima
