Nathan Rtishchev

Nathan Rtishchev is a theater academic, administrator, producer, and occasional creative originally from New Jersey, currently based in Brooklyn. He has written, directed, and produced work at the Tank. He is currently finishing his master's thesis at NYU in Russian and Slavic Studies, focused on the role of physicality and audience interaction in early Soviet theater. Nathan has also helped produce academic conferences at the NYU Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia. He has ushered and house managed at theaters around NYC, such as LCT3, Bedlam, and the Brick. He is a proud alum of Brandeis University and the NTI Moscow Art Theater Semester.
